ADVENT AND CHRISTMAS

If there is anything we can do to make it easier for you to join in, please let us know.

  • On the first Sunday of Advent, we will celebrate Communion. If you love Jesus a little and want to love him more, you are welcome to share in the Communion. The wine is non-alcoholic and gluten-free bread is available.

  • On the second Sunday of Advent, we will enjoy a soup lunch together after the service, with donations going to towards the work of Bethany Christian Trust, Scottish Charity No. SC003783.

  • We are holding a Christmas lunch in the church hall on Saturday 13 December 2025 from 12.30pm.

    Tickets cost £5 per person. Tickets are available in person at church, or you can reserve your place online and pay on the day.

  • On the third Sunday of Advent, we will meet for our usual worship service in the morning and then again in the afternoon for a special service of Favourite Carols.

  • Come and join us as we sing a selection of favourite Christmas Carols on Sunday 14 December from 3pm. We’ll enjoy refreshments afterwards, ending around 5pm. Enter by the wooden doors on London Road. All welcome!

  • A special service of remembrance for those we have loved and lost. This service is for you, whether your loss was recent or longer ago, and is open to everyone, from any church or none. Enter by the wooden doors on London Road.

  • On the fourth Sunday of Advent, we will enjoy a service of Lessons and Carols.

  • On Christmas Eve, everyone is invited to an afternoon service led by our worship team. This service is particularly aimed at families and visitors are very welcome!

  • On Christmas Eve, we will hold a traditional Watchnight service to see in Christmas Day. Visitors are very welcome!

  • On Christmas Day, we will meet at 10.30am for a short worship service to celebrate together the good news that God is with us. Visitors are very welcome!
